The IRF Guidelines for the Development of Road Safety Master Plans
Under the auspices of its Group of Experts on Road Safety IRF has launched a set of comprehensive Guidelines for the Development of Road Safety Master Plans. The Guidelines, which may be downloaded free of charge, are designed to guide and provide practical advice - backed up with comprehensive case studies - to municipal authorities throughout the world as they strive to make their communities safer through the creation and implementation of road safety master plans.
CHANGER - IRF Greenhouse Gas Calculator
IRF has designed a greenhouse gas calculator – CHANGER - specifically tailored to road infrastructure projects. Fully compatible with the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) guidelines and easy to use, the tool allows public and private entities to monitor and assess greenhouse gas emissions generated during the different stages of the road construction process.
